Adam Watson

We're delighted that Adam Watson will be with us in church this Sunday to speak about having a faith that marvels Jesus.

We thought you'd like to know more about him, so here's what he's written on his website:

Hi guys, we're the Watsons! We (Adam and Laura) have been married for 8 years and have our daughter (Lucy who is 2). Laura grew up in Houston, Texas, while Adam grew up in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia. Adam attended college in Michigan and was rerouted to Texas due to bone cancer, which later led him to attend Texas State University. Laura was also a student at Texas State University. In God's sovereignty, the two of us met there! We met at a prayer meeting on campus and a few weeks later met again in a communications class called "Persuasion." Let's just say, Adam persuaded Laura to marry him pretty quickly!

After serving as college pastors in San Marcos, Adam and Laura attended Dallas Theological Seminary. While in seminary at DTS, Adam received his Masters in Christian Leadership and Laura received her Masters of Biblical and Theological Studies. While we were there and God gave us an incredible spiritual family of professors, staff members and other students while we both worked for the Spiritual Formation department. Adam is continuing his Doctorate through Dallas Theological Seminary. Adam's doctoral focus is on International Ministry Residencies in an effort to train and develop leaders to be sent to the nations with access to seminary education. Our heart as a family is to empower leaders to cast strategic vision and discover God’s call on their lives. Laura has owned her photography business for the past 7 years and is now dreaming of what God could do with photography in the future. Maybe we will see some London photoshoots? 

As a family, we have always felt a strong call towards the nations and reaching the lost for Jesus. We are grateful to be joining with Commission and a historic church in downtown London (we will announce where this is later) to launch out and plant a church in the next two years. We are passionate for the lost to be found and for the gospel to move forward in London and beyond!
