Living Acts 

Jesus has ascended into heaven and the stage is set.

What follows in Acts is not a quiet epilogue but the beginning of a remarkable story. Ordinary people become an extraordinary, international movement. The world is turned upside down and inside out. There is persecution and prison, courage and costly obedience, angels and healings, questions and miracles. This is the story of the church.

And it is not finished.

Acts invites us to see that the same Spirit who moved then is still at work now. The same God who spoke, led, and empowered those first believers still speaks, leads, and empowers his people today. As you read, you may begin to notice that this is not just their story. It is ours as well.

Throughout October, you are invited to walk slowly through the book of Acts, one chapter at a time. Each day, read the chapter, spend time with the reflection, and then respond with the prayer and the challenge. The aim is not to rush, but to notice. Not simply to learn, but to be shaped.

The daily challenges are there to help you think and live more missionally, to look for opportunities to join in with what God is already doing around you. If you miss a day or find a challenge difficult, do not be discouraged. This is an invitation, not a test. This is the story of Acts. And the story continues today.
