The Lord is my Shepherd (that’s Relationship)
I shall not want (that’s Supply)
He makes me lie down in green pastures (that’s Rest)
Disciple-making is at the core of our vision as a church. Simply put, a disciple is anyone who loves and obeys Jesus.
Malcolm Kayes said in his preach (Mark 10:35-45) that the most important thing is not your gift, (because it may not always fit), but “having a heart to serve” which means you are ready and willing to do what needs to be done.
This Sunday is Ministry Fair Every vision needs people to make it happen. In 2016, God told us to ‘organise our battalion’. We believe this means we need to build strong ministry teams that will enable and support the delivery of the vision God has given us.
I love working in the Church. One of the joys of working in a Church is that you get to do a variety of unplanned activities…including, climbing a ladder to go thorough a window to help a member who was locked out of their house get back in.
We want to see hundreds of lives transformed in our community, through the power of the gospel. We want to make disciples that make disciples.
